CWS-MBBR Packaged Treatment Plants

Performance Advantage:

The MBBR reactor uses an innovative sludge return system. Aerated activated sludge is returned back to the inlet of the trash tank. This activates effluent from the moment it enters the septic tank. The result is significantly less sludge and an elimination of most odours.

Long-Term Maintenance Advantage:

The treatment plant can be cleaned to rid the system of grease or other non-digestable contaminants, due to mismanagement of the system.

Unlike competitive treatment plants, the CWS-MBBR comes equipped with a 6" fitting with clean-out. There is no need to excavate when refurbishing the system.

System Features:

  • Extremely efficient nutrient removal
  • NSF/ANSI Standard 40 Class1
  • NSF/ANSI Standard 245
  • Simply designed and self contained
  • Simple to install
  • Simple to operate
  • Simple to maintain
  • Minimum sludge production
  • Longer intervals between septic pumping

CWS-MBBR Package Treatment Plants are equipped with Blue Diamond Air Pumps

Blue Diamond ET Series Air Pump with Integral Alarm

Blue Diamond ET series air pumps provide high levels of water movement in wastewater applications. Blue Diamond pumps operate quietly and are easy to service. The robust weatherproof case makes them a great choice for packaged treatment plants.

The Envirosure Alarm is designed for use with Blue Diamond ET series pumps.

  • Detects low pressure or power failures immediately
  • Easy to install
  • Optional LED beacon

Alarmed Pump Control Panel

Contractors will appreciate the optional SJE Rhombus control panel with integral alarm, designed for outdoor installation.

Two control switches activate a power relay to turn the pump on and off. If an alarm condition occurs, an additional alarm switch activates the audible and visual alarm system. The compact panel (8" x 6" x 4″) is ideal for residential applications.

The NSF mark is your assurance that the product has been tested by a respected independent certification organization. NSF conducts periodic unannounced inspections and product testing to verify that products continue to comply with the standard.

NSF/ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Standard 245 defines total nitrogen reduction requirements to meet the growing demand for nutrient reduction in sensitive environments. NSF/ANSI 245 covers residential wastewater treatment systems with rated capacities between 400 and 1,500 gallons per day.
